Who Do You Love? New Short Fiction

Photo of Alix OhlinAlix Ohlin will read new fiction from her forthcoming collection of stories on 2 November 2010 at 7:30 pm in 104 Kirby Hall of Civil Rights. The reading is free and open to the public.

“In my recent work,” Ohlin writes, “I’ve been experimenting with genre forms such as the mystery, ghost story, and melodrama. Mostly, the stories feature characters at times of crisis — people who confront dramatic situations and discover that, in the end, no one is more responsible for the transformations in their lives than themselves.”

Alix Ohlin is an associate professor of English at Lafayette College; her reading is Lafayette’s Jones Faculty Lecture for fall 2010.
